Weekly Events October 7th and 8th

 

Thanksgiving weekend is already here!  Aside from time with family and friends there are some great events here in town!

 

Mounstberg is hosting a Spooktacular Halloween!

During the month of October Mountsberg undergoes a ghoulish transformation! The spooky Haunted Barn is suitable for children ages 5 and up (parents are encouraged to explore first). Do you dare find the skeletons’ tea party or climb to the deck of the haunted pirate ship? This event also features live snake presentations, Bird of Prey Presentations – featuring Vultures and Owls, Pumpkin Passport to Discovery, Pumpkin Hay play area, Face painting and more…whew! Wear your costume and receive a free hot drink in the shop. What more could your little ghoul or goblin ask for?

Milton Transit is collecting non perishable food items for their stuff a bus campaign!

Stop by the parking lot at Milton Metro to make your donation Saturday between 10:00 am and 3:00pm and help out a great cause!

 

Last weekend for the Farmer’s Market!

Take a stroll up Main Street to shop for some fresh local produce, baked goods and more at the last weekend for the Milton Farmer’s Market.

Nestled in the foot of the scenic Niagara Escarpment, the Milton Farmers’ Market has been bringing farm-fresh goodness and old-fashioned hospitality to Main Street, in downtown Milton, since 1972. Our farmers proudly display “picked fresh this morning” produce and the streets come alive with artisans and flower vendors. The  weekly Saturday morning event  is one of Ontario’s best outdoor Farmers’ Markets. This years Market has hosted over 40 vendors on Main Street.

Stop in Saturday between 7:00 am and 12:00pm
